Hi Reddit - I have a light fixture about 10 feet off the ground, above a stairwell in a home I just moved into, and it's time to change the bulb. I'm just not sure how, short of buying a fancier ladder with extendable legs (seems dangerous and pricey) or [gasp] hiring somebody.
Here's the story..
The bulb itself is in a fixture like this:
The fixture is situated here:
Fixture close-up with 3 clasps
There are 3 small clasps that I need to turn 90-degrees to be able to remove the dome. Then, I need to insert a new bulb at a right angle relative to my ceiling.
I've looked for extension rods that turn 90-degree but haven't really found much. Are there any tools you guys would suggest?
Thanks in advance.
