Hey y'all first off thank you to everyone who helped me on my previous post!
I just wanted to update yall and tell yall how I ended up locating the source of my house flies and then how I was able to get rid of them!
As suggested by someone I put out bowls of ACV and dish soap in every room. I was able to come to the conclusion that the house flies/gnats were coming from the bathroom by doing this!!! I searched high and low and finally figured out that they were coming from the shower drain.
I then called my mom (I'm convinced all Italian mothers know secret cleaning hacks for everything) and she suggested I pour 1/2 cup salt down the drain followed by 1/2 cup baking soda and then finally 1 cup vinegar. I only had ACV but she said it should work the same. After letting it sit for about 5 hours I them poured a pot of boiling water over it to clean out the drain. To my suprise I no longer have gnats!
Just a little fyi for those of yall who have heard of this and wonder if it works! It definitely does!!!!
