I am completely clueless as to how I could convince my parents to let me bring a pet(Labrador) to the house. I have tried all kinds of ways from showing them lots of videos and show them instances that a dog is the best thing that could happen to me. But nothing really convinced them to agree. The main reason for their refusal is that my parents had a very bad experience in their yesteryears , of petting a dog that backfired on them when it met with an accident and died. The trauma of losing a dog caused them to believe that they could not never take care of another dog once again. I really wish I could convince them. Any help would be appreciated.
