Specifically, I have a 2014 GMC Sierra. I call it my silver snail because there's so much dead space in the accelerator that it practically feels like a big dually trying to take off. I would think it's got relatively too low miles (~70k) for it to be something that would've broken or started to malfunction but rather just the way it was manufactured.
How do I remove the dead space? Or would it be better to just try and raise the engine idle speed? The most extensive auto work I've ever done is change a rotor and brake pads, so you may have to explain it extra simply for me to understand.
I've found 2 different forum posts that mention this, but I was wondering if either one should be followed for my particular vehicle or if it's a different method for a Sierra.
