Yellowjacket nest in toy car

Been trying to help my parents clean around the house while I’m staying with them for a few months. Several years ago my younger sister bought something similar to this toy car with the intention of repainting it to be a miniature version of the beetle she drives. Well that never happened, it was put on the back porch and it’s been sitting there untouched ever since.

Today while trying to clean off the porch I pushed the car out into the yard and apparently disturbed a yellowjacket nest somewhere in the toy car. I ran back inside the house and watched them swarm around for a bit before they settled down.

The car is most likely garbage at this point from being out in the elements, so with that in mind what’s the best way to kill the nest? Its not somewhere I can see so a spray wouldn’t work. The car isn’t very big, so I was thinking of getting a large plastic bin, setting a bug bomb in the seat part of the car and then set the tote upside down over the car to cover it, and possibly trying to slide the lid of the tote underneath to completely seal it, but not sure I’m brave enough to try that.

But reading online it seems that foggers aren’t always effective on yellowjackets/wasps. Although most of what I’ve read about that pertains to larger areas such as attics.

Any ideas? I’ve managed to go nearly 30 years without ever being stung by a bee or wasp and certainly not looking to start now.
